12,652 fans watched an exciting game at Bright Health Park.  The Colorado
14ers ended a long winless drought and topped the Minnesota Loons by the
slimmest of margins, 7 to 6.

Both teams were tied at 6 runs apiece after nine innings.  Colorado came out
the victor in the 10th inning.  After an out was recorded, Johnny Bassler
delivered a single.  After another out, Specs Toporcer came up and he
delivered a base-hit resulting in an exciting win for Colorado and a wild
post-game celebration by the home town fans.  Colorado finished with 13 hits
in the victory.  

Garland Braxton(3-2) got the win allowing no runs in 3 innings. The loss was
charged to Watty Clark(0-1) in relief.  He allowed 1 run and 3 hits in 2 and
2/3 innings.
