Don Money cracked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Hibbing Dylans defeated the
The Little Feat 9 to 6 at Lowell George Park.
Money had a big day against The Little. He lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in
the 1st inning, lined a one-base hit in the 3rd inning and rifled a three-run
blast in the 7th inning. Hibbing managed 11 hits in their victory.
Don Sutton(2-1) allowed 6 runs in 6 innings, and picked up the victory. Joe
Sambito was credited with his 6th save. Bill Campbell(1-1) absorbed the loss
in relief. He allowed 3 hits and 2 walks in 1 inning.
The win by Hibbing is a very welcome one as they have been struggling in
recent days. Their record now stands at 10-10 - only 2-8 in their last ten
games. John Demijistre was pretty down after the loss. 'We've really been
sputtering along lately, something like 1-8 in the last week or two. That
won't get it done.'
