The Colorado 14ers batters feasted on the Cincinatti Royalty pitching at
Memorial Coliseum.  The final score was a lop-sided 10 to 2.

Cincinatti never recovered after Colorado took the lead in the 2nd inning
scoring 2 runners on 2 hits.  The highlight belonged to Woodie Held who
elicited a roar from the hometown fans when he cracked a two-run shot.
Colorado had 14 hits for the afternoon while Cincinatti had 9.  

Joe McClain(2-1) went 7 innings allowing 2 runs for the victory. Barry
Latman(0-2) suffered the loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 12 hits and 6
walks in 6 innings.
