one-run game at The Rum Cellar. The final score was the Iowa MoonlightGraham
3, the Savannah Rumrunners 2 in 10 innings.
The game was deadlocked at 2 after nine full innings. Iowa won it in the 10th
inning. Darrell Porter lined a one-base hit. Buddy Bell was next and he
doubled. Rick Burleson then hit a sacrifice fly scoring the run. Iowa had
11 hits for the afternoon while Savannah had 4.
Ron Reed(1-2) went 3 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Bob Lacey(0-1)
took the loss in relief. He was unable to retire a batter allowing 2 hits
