In a lop-sided win the Iowa MoonlightGraham ended a long winless drought and
ripped the Minnesota Loons by a 8 to 2 count.
Iowa jumped on top to stay in the top of the 3rd inning plating one baserunner
using 2 hits. Iowa had 17 hits for the game and Minnesota had 7.
The victory was credited to Guy Bush(3-2) who went 8 and 1/3 innings, allowing
2 runs. Garland Buckeye(1-3) absorbed the loss. He got hammered, allowing 13
hits and 5 walks in 5 and 1/3 innings.
