Jim Bottomley collected 2 extra-base hits and had 2 RBI as the Michigan
Timbers defeated the Mid-World Bumblers by the score of 9 to 6 at Royal Oaks
Ballpark.

In the 7th inning Michigan scored 4 runs with the help of 4 hits. They would
be enough to earn the win.  Michigan managed 12 hits in their victory.  

The win was credited to Otis Starks(2-1) who went 1 inning allowing no runs.
Starks got relief help from Johnny Miljus who gained credit for his 5th save.
The loss was charged to Lefty Stewart(1-3) in relief.  Michigan scored big
getting 5 runs off him in 3 innings.  

Michigan now has a record of 22-21. With the loss Mid-World now has a record
of 22-17.
