Right fielder Reggie Jackson rocketed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Dave
Freisleben tossed a fine 3 hitter as the Seattle Pilots smashed the
overmatched Bristol Blasters, 11 to 1.

Jackson had a good evening at the plate. He cleared the fences for a two-run
home run in the 5th inning, popped a two-run clout over the fence in the 6th
inning and slapped a one-base hit in the 8th inning. Seattle rapped out 16
hits for the night.

The win went to Freisleben(6-3) who allowed 1 run in the game. Jerry
Reuss(5-5) absorbed the loss. He allowed 9 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings.

'Freisleben pitched a gem of a game', Bristol's manager recounted. 'He kept
our batters off balance the entire game.'
