First baseman Willie Montanez had 3 base hits as the The Little Feat outscored
the Las Vegas Stars in 10 innings 3 to 2.
Both teams had scored 2 runs after nine full innings. The Little won the hard
fought contest in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Bill Madlock
laced a one-base hit. Enzo Hernandez stepped up next and he singled. Ed
Sprague then uncorked a wild pitch making The Little the victors to the
delight of the home town faithful. Las Vegas was out-hit by The Little, 10
