TEAM RISP- Feat: 4 for 18 Bichipoos: 6 for 14
In a close game the Pittsburgh Bichipoos ended a long winless drought and got
by the The Little Feat by the score of 8 to 6.
Ken McBride(4-3) contributed a pedestrian performance to earn the win. He
went 7 and 1/3 innings surrendering 11 hits and 6 walks. The game was a wild
affair with the lead changing hands 5 times.
McBride got help from Dick Lemay who was credited with his 6th save. Paul
Foytack(4-2) was charged with the loss in relief.
'After the stretch we have been through lately, this victory is especially
sweet' offered Pittsburgh's manager. Now, we just have to make this the norm
- not the exception!'
