Center fielder Garry Maddox had 4 hits at Lowell George Park as the The Little
Feat staged a comeback win over the Iowa MoonlightGraham by the count of 12
to 8.
The difference in the game was the offensive outburst by The Little in the 9th
inning as they pummeled Iowa for 7 runs on 6 hits. The big moment was
provided by Maddox who brought the crowd to their feet when he caught a hold
of a fastball for a Grand Slam homerun. Overall The Little out-hit Iowa 19
to 9.
The win was credited to Terry Forster(2-1) who went 1 inning allowing no runs.
The loss was charged to Ron Reed(4-4) in relief.
'That was exciting!,' Maddox said. 'I would have paid money to watch this
one.'
