Jake Miller stopped Gallifrey cold and Earle Combs blasted a homerun and had 2
RBI as the The Little Feat topped the Gallifrey Time Lords by a score of 6 to
4 at The TARDIS.
The Little brought 2 runs across the plate in the 6th inning. Heinie Sand led
off the inning for The Little when he drew a walk. Two outs later Eddie
Brown stepped up to the plate and he reached on an error knocking in a run.
Paul Waner then doubled scoring the final run of the inning. The Little
banged out 10 hits on the afternoon.
Foster Edwards(3-0) was the winner allowing 4 runs in 5 innings. Miller got
the save, his 3rd. Charlie Root(10-6) ended up with the loss.
'He gutted it out' John Demijistre said of Edwards. 'I was very impressed by
his tenacity.'
