Webster McDonald allowed Steve Sustakowski to rest his bullpen, tossing a
complete game at The TARDIS as the Bristol Blasters beat the Gallifrey Time
Lords 12 to 7.
Bristol took the lead for keeps in the 5th inning plating one baserunner using
3 hits. Branch Russell singled. Ossie Bluege next to the plate and he laid
down a sacrifice bunt. James Bray then delivered a base-hit scoring the run.
Bristol dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different innings.
McDonald(3-5) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 7 runs. Rube
Walberg(5-10) absorbed the loss. He allowed 12 hits and 4 walks in 5 and 2/3
innings.
