At The Wastelands, the Mid-World fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel.
Reggie Cleveland(5-1) finally bested his Mid-World opposite, Tommy John(9-6),
by the score of 2 to 1.

Cleveland delivered a fine performance for Towanda. He went 7 innings and
surrended up 4 hits and 2 walks reducing his ERA from 4.80 to 4.33.
Cleveland got help from Will McEnaney who pitched a perfect ninth and was
credited with his 3rd save.

John was the loser. 'Ahhh, that victory was surely needed. Man alive, things
were getting awfully grim,' noted Tom Kelly. 'Now, we need to string a bunch
of wins together and turn things around!'
