Travis Fryman hit a homerun and had 2 RBI as the Cincinnati Royalty bested the
Minnesota Loons 5 to 2 at The Palace.
Cincinnati took the lead for good in the bottom of the 3rd inning scoring 2
runs on 2 base hits. Fryman started the attack as he hit a bases-empty home
run. Two outs later Craig Counsell stepped in and he drew a walk. Chan Ho
Park then was wild with a pitch. Jeff Bagwell followed next and he slapped a
base-hit scoring the final run of the inning. Cincinnati managed 10 hits in
their victory.
Jimmy Key(3-5) got credit for the victory, pitching 6 innings and allowing no
runs. Park(4-7) was given the loss. He surrendered 3 hits and 4 walks in 5
innings.
