George Grantham had 2 base hits at Blaster Field as the Savannah Rumrunners
beat the Bristol Blasters 3 to 2.

Roosevelt Davis(5-5) delivered a fine performance for Savannah.  He was
reached for 5 hits and 2 walks in 8 and 2/3 innings.  Bristol threatened in
the 9th but Savannah was able to put down the rally.  

Rube Currie gained credit for his 12th save.  Satchel Paige(1-1) was given the
loss.  'Some losses are harder to take than others' Steve Sustakowski
lamented after the game.  'This was one of them.'
