First baseman Lee Thomas had 4 hits and 4 RBI and Terry Fox closed it out for
Sugarland as the Sugarland Skeeters defeated the The Little Feat 9 to 8 at
Metropolitan Stadium.

Thomas enjoyed a fine day at the plate. He lined a base-hit in the 3rd
inning, hit a single in the 5th inning, smacked a three-run homer in the 7th
inning and stroked a one-base hit resulting in a run in the 8th inning. This
was a game of many highs and lows for the home town fans, as the lead kept
changing - 5 times in all.

The winning pitcher was Chet Nichols(2-3) who allowed no runs in 2 innings.
Fox earned the save, his 13th. Phil Regan(3-5) took the loss in relief.
