TEAM RISP- Orioles: 3 for 8 14ers: 1 for 6
Roberto Alomar had 2 base hits as the St Louis Park Orioles topped the
Colorado 14ers by a score of 5 to 2 at Kaufmann Stadium.
In the top of the 3rd inning St Louis Park scored 3 runs. That early scoring
was all that Greg Maddux(7-2) needed. Both teams ended up with 6 hits on the
night.
Randy Myers recorded the save, his 15th. Rick Reed(8-3) was the losing
pitcher. 'Ahhh, that victory was surely needed. Man alive, things were
getting awfully grim,' noted Tom Austad. 'Now, we need to string a bunch of
wins together and turn things around!'
