Shortstop Tony Lazzeri had 3 base hits and 2 RBI and Rube Walberg delivered 9
solid innings as the Gallifrey Time Lords defeated the Michigan Timbers 5 to
0 at Royal Oaks Ballpark.

Gallifrey took the lead for keeps in the top of the 4th inning with 2 runs on
3 hits.  Harry Heilmann led off and keyed the rally when he ripped a one-base
hit.  Lazzeri stepped up next and he drew a walk.  Joe Judge then lined a
single to load the bases.  Eddie Moore stepped in and he banged out a
base-hit knocking in a run.  Scally Smith came to the plate and would hit
into a force play scoring the final run of the inning.  Gallifrey had 11 hits
for the afternoon.  

It was the 2nd shutout of the year for Walberg(5-9). Doolittle Young(0-1) was
the losing pitcher.  He pitched 5 innings giving up 8 hits and 1 walk.
