Left fielder Del Ennis hit 2 doubles as the Savannah Rumrunners outscored the
Minnesota Loons 6 to 2.
Savannah claimed the early lead in the first inning scoring a single run.
Gene Hermanski drew a walk. After another out, Stan Musial struck out,
unable to help the rally. Ennis then doubled scoring the run. Savannah
banged out 10 hits on the afternoon.
The win was credited to Chuck Stobbs(2-0) who went 5 innings allowing 2 runs.
Joe Dobson(1-3) took the loss. He surrendered 5 runs and 8 hits in 7
