Chaney White had 2 base hits at Bright Health Park as the Colorado 14ers beat
the Bumpass BS in 11 innings by the count of 4 to 3.
The game was deadlocked at 3 after nine full innings. Colorado came out the
victor in the 11th inning. After two were out Wally Schang drew a walk.
Charlie Gehringer stepped up next and he drew a walk. Chick Tolson then
lashed a single giving Colorado the victory as 47,717 happy fans celebrated
wildly. Colorado had 10 hits for the afternoon while Bumpass had 7.
Garland Braxton(9-5) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 and 2/3
innings. Charles Craig(5-5) took the loss in relief. He allowed 1 run and 1
hit in 1 and 2/3 innings.
