one-run game at Lowell George Park. The final score was the Savannah
Rumrunners 3, the The Little Feat 2.
Savannah won the game with a run in the top of the 8th inning. Babe Ruth
cracked a solo homerun. Rube Currie pitched a perfect ninth and was credited
with his 21st save.
The winning pitcher was Lefty Grove(8-10) who allowed no runs in 2 innings.
Jake Miller(3-5) took the loss in relief. He gave up 2 hits and 1 walk in 2
innings.
Wth the win Savannah now has a record of 52-51. John Demijistre was unhappy
with his club's recent performance. 'We can't keep losing games' he said.
