Freezeouts topped the Bristol Blasters by the slimmest of margins, 6 to
5.
Joe Hatten(6-5) pitched a fine game. He allowed 4 hits and 1 walk in 7
innings lowering his ERA to 4.50. Bristol threatened in the 9th but Tenth
Avenue was able to put down the rally.
Hatten got help from Bill Voiselle who earned his 2nd save. Eddie Lopat(7-9)
was hit with the loss. He was unable to control the Tenth Avenue offense and
allowed 9 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings.
