In a startling finish the Colorado 14ers staged a comeback then held on to win
over the Gallifrey Time Lords by a score of 5 to 2 at The TARDIS.
Colorado won the game with a rally in the 9th inning when they scored 4 runs
on 3 hits. The biggest moment was provided by Chick Tolson who disappointed
the partisan crowd when he belted a three-run homer. Garland Braxton was
perfect in relief and gained credit for his 17th save.
The victory was credited to Zip Campbell(7-4) who went 1 and 2/3 innings,
allowing 2 runs. Jesse Petty(12-13) was hit with the loss. 'We just kept
swinging the bats and didn't give up,' Chaney White said. 'If you just keep
trying good things can happen!'
