In an entertaining game at Lowell George Park the final score was the
Pittsburgh Bichipoos 7, the The Little Feat 4.

Pittsburgh scored the decisive runs in a big 8th inning as they scored 4 runs
on 2 base hits.  The crucial at-bat was provided by Ray Noble who silenced
the crowd when he lofted a three-run bomb.  Pittsburgh finished with 9 hits
in the victory.  

The winning pitcher was Billy Pierce(8-3) who allowed no runs in 2 and 2/3
innings. Al Benton gained credit for his 17th save.  Mickey Harris(0-3) ended
up with the loss in relief.  He allowed Pittsburgh 5 runs in 2 innings of
work.
