Lee Meadows went the distance as the Cincinatti Royalty outscored the slumping
Mid-World Bumblers 8 to 5.

Cincinatti had the game winning rally in the 8th inning scoring 2 runs on 3
base hits. After an out was recorded, Pie Traynor keyed the rally when he
ripped a base-knock. Dick Lundy was next and he banged out a single. Lundy
was running on the next pitch and he stole second. One out later, Sam
Streeter then let one slip out of his hand for a wild pitch scoring a run.
Gus Felix stepped into the box and doubled scoring the final run of the
inning. Cincinatti totaled 12 hits on the afternoon.

Meadows(7-7), allowing 5 runs for the game, picked up the victory.
Streeter(6-6) ended up with the loss. He allowed 8 runs and 12 hits in 9
innings.
