Bichipoos beat the slumping Cincinatti Royalty 9 to 3.
Pittsburgh took the lead for good in the top of the 4th inning as they scored
3 runs on 3 base hits. The highlight belonged to George Harper who deflated
the crowd as he belted a three-run homer. Pittsburgh had 13 hits for the
afternoon while Cincinatti had 10.
Jakie May(13-10) went 5 and 2/3 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory.
Freddie Fitzsimmons earned his 6th save. The loss was charged to Vic
Aldridge(15-8). Pittsburgh knocked him around a bit, as he gave up 5 runs in
4 and 2/3 innings.
