In a close game the Pittsburgh Bichipoos got by the Bristol Blasters in 11
innings by the score of 3 to 1.
The score was knotted at 1 after nine innings. Pittsburgh won it in the 11th
inning. Roy Sievers kicked off the action when he drew a walk. Joe Gordon
stepped into the batter's box and he doubled which scored a run. Max Surkont
then was wild with a pitch scoring the final run of the inning. Pittsburgh
had only 6 hits for the game.
Al Benton(6-6) went 2 and 2/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory.
Surkont(5-2) was the loser in relief. He allowed 1 hit and 1 walk in 1 and
