Chris Speier blasted a grand slam at The Launch Palace as the Cincinatti
Royalty beat the Bumpass BS 11 to 5.
Speier helped send the fans home happy. He stroked a one-base hit in the 3rd
inning and cleared the bases with a Grand Slam homerun in the 8th inning.
Cincinatti had 14 hits overall, while Bumpass had 9.
Tom Johnson(5-1) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings.
Rich Gossage(15-3) was tagged with the loss in relief. He pitched 2/3 of an
inning allowing 6 hits and 3 walks.
