Steve Rogers was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Colorado 14ers bested the Savannah Rumrunners 4 to 1 at
Bright Health Park.
Savannah fell behind quickly as the Colorado offense came through in the first
inning scoring one runner utilizing 2 base hits. Colorado finished with 10
hits in the victory.
Rogers(21-8) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 1 run. Phil
Niekro(17-9) was the losing pitcher. He allowed a few too many baserunners
giving up 9 hits and 3 walks in 5 and 2/3 innings.
