WEB GEMS- Top 6th: Brian L. Hunter robbed Michael Tucker of an extra base hit.
Jeff D'Amico delivered 8 solid innings and center fielder Brian L. Hunter had
4 hits as the Bristol Blasters topped the Pinch Quicks by a score of 6 to 3
at Fenway Park.
Bristol jumped on top of Pinch in the bottom of the 3rd inning when they came
up with 2 runs on 3 hits. That early run support was all that D'Amico(7-3)
required. Bristol ended up with 15 hits for the game while Pinch had 6.
D'Amico got relief help from Rigo Beltran who gained credit for his 4th save.
Orel Hershiser(4-10) absorbed the loss. He was knocked around by Bristol,
allowing 10 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings.
