separated the combatants at game's end. The Iowa MoonlightGraham won by the
slimmest of margins, 4 to 3.
Urban Shocker(2-9) had a solid outing for Iowa. He surrendered 5 hits and no
walks in 5 and 2/3 innings. Mid-World made it exciting in the 9th, but they
were unable to push the needed runs across.
Shocker got help from Jing Johnson who earned his 10th save. Earl
Whitehill(12-8) was given the loss. He pitched 6 innings allowing 5 hits and
5 walks.
