Baseballs were flying all over the ballpark as the Denver Dingers ran
roughshod over the seemingly hapless Savannah Rumrunners. The Denver offense
rolled up a total of 13 runs!.
Pete Vuckovich(10-8) had a fairly solid outing. He allowed 6 hits and 1 walk
in 5 innings. Vuckovich mowed down 6 Savannah batters. Denver had 11 hits
overall, while Savannah had 8.
Warren Brusstar(3-5) took the loss in relief. By surrending 3 runs in 1/3 of
an inning his ERA jumped from 3.43 to 3.86.
