Dan Plesac had an impressive outing as the Savannah Rumrunners beat the
Hibbing Dylans in 11 innings by a score of 7 to 6.
The score was knotted at 6 after nine innings. Savannah came out on top in
the 11th inning. Ron Coomer laced a one-base hit. Mike Bordick stepped up
next and he laid down a sacrifice bunt. After another out, Brady Anderson
then slapped a base-hit making Savannah the victor and beginning a joyous
home town celebration. Both teams finished the game with 9 hits.
The victory went to Plesac(3-5) who went 3 innings, allowing no runs. Pep
Harris(1-4) was the loser in relief. He allowed 2 hits and no walks in 2/3
of an inning.
