Larry Benton went 7 strong innings as the The Little Feat topped the Sterling
Silver Sluggers by a score of 2 to 1 at Silver Slapper Park.

The Little promptly took the lead in their half of the first when they scored
2 runs on 2 hits. That scoring would be all that was needed. Sterling
threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.

The victory was credited to Benton(10-11) who went 7 innings, allowing no
runs. Jake Miller got the save, his 16th. Carmen Hill(16-11) absorbed the
loss. He gave up 3 hits and 5 walks in 8 innings.
