St Paul was unable to climb back into it after Tenth Avenue went ahead for
good in the 7th inning scoring one runner using 2 hits. St Paul tried
unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.
Bob Feller(8-14) got credit for the victory, pitching 7 innings and allowing 3
runs. Feller got relief help from Apple Wilmore who gained credit for his 6th
save. Nels Potter(5-6) was charged with the loss in relief.
