Tim Salmon cracked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Coors Field where the Michigan
Timber beat the Savannah Rumrunners by the score of 14 to 13.
Salmon provided much of the offense. He blasted a two-run home run in the 2nd
inning, blasted a solo shot in the 4th inning, ripped a one-base hit in the
6th inning and lined a single in the 8th inning. Savannah threatened in the
9th but Michigan was able to put down the rally.
The win was credited to Pat Rapp(2-4) who went 1 inning allowing 3 runs. Rapp
got relief help from Trevor Hoffman who gained credit for his 33rd save.
Stan Belinda(4-4) was the loser in relief.
