Center fielder Rondell White jacked one out of the ballyard as the St Paul
Saints defeated the The Little Feat 1 to 0 at Shea Stadium.
Mike Trombley(6-3) was dominant in relief. He did not allow a baserunner in
his 1 and 2/3 innings. The Little made it exciting in the 9th, but they were
unable to push the needed runs across.
Trombley was helped out by Darren Dreifort who recorded his 18th save. Dennis
Eckersley(2-4) took the loss in relief. He pitched 1 inning and surrendered
1 hit and no walks.
